Cathy Worthley is an transgender American singer/songwriter based in Maine.[1][2] For over twenty years Worthley performed as George at folk and Scottish festivals throughout the U.S., and has recorded several albums.

She has been interviewed by television media including the BBC,[citation needed] San Francisco Bay Times,[3] and was featured in Snowboarder Magazine playing bagpipes astride a snowboard[3][4] .

She appeared at the June 7, 2008 New England Trans Pride March, in Northampton, Massachusetts.[5][6]

She lives in Portland, Maine.
