UCI Care-A-Thon is an annual Dance Marathon event that takes place at University of California, Irvine during the month of May. The purpose of Care-A-Thon is to unite the student body together at an event filled with dancing, games, and musical performances - all which raise money for Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). In its inaugural year, 2008, Care-A-Thon raised $5,923.86 for the Hospital.

In its inaugural year, Care-A-Thon featured three dance crews and two bands. The performing highlight came in the middle of the event, when Kaba Modern Legacy performed. Featuring dancers from Kaba Modern, some of which had appeared on America's Best Dance Crew, Kaba Modern Legacy drew great crowds.
Performers from CADC and MCIA also performed at Care-A-Thon.
